Citrus plants are a great option for a tropical plant selection in your home or garden. They help clean the air and as a bonus provide edible fruit right in your home. If you have a very sunny well ventilated room like a sunroom, citrus plants are an excellent choice for you.

Citrus plants are also great for the outdoors after the frost-free date (usually about the end of May), and when the day and night temperatures remain relatively the same. They should be placed in a shady spot, and gradually moved into full sun over a couple of weeks to prevent leaf scorch.
